CFP: AI + D&D Mashup for CCCC Fall Virtual Institute

What if AI were a monster? I'm looking for a few people interested in finding out. 

I'm putting together a roundtable proposal that positions the conversation as a game of D&D. In addition to having a D&D character, you will also need to focus on one of the six participant-roles listed in the CCCC CFP. If you already play D&D, check out the CCCC CFP at  https://cccc.ncte.org/cccc/cfp-2024-cccc-fall-virtual-institute to see if you can fulfill one of the roles listed. I have identified a potential Dungeon Master, and I will serve as the Opener. The other roles listed in the CCCC proposal are open. 

How to Propose

If you are interested in participating in this roundtable, send me an email at ten...@tengrrl.com with the following information: 

• Your name and academic affiliation
• Whether you are a representative of any of the following categories: 
• community colleges,
• HBCUs, 
• tribal colleges, 
• colleagues from institutions outside the United States, 
• teaching colleges, 
• HSIs, and/or institutions that are part of the AANAPISI program.
• Your D&D species and class (if you can be flexible, include that as well)
• The CCCC participant-role you're interested in

Timeline

Due Date: Friday, July 19

Decisions Shared: Monday, July 29

Collaboration on the proposal: Monday, July 29 to Wednesday, August 7

Proposal due to CCCC: 10 AM on Friday, August 9
