Dear Colleagues,
Please consider submitting your scholarly work on teaching and
learning to Currents in Teaching and Learning
(
https://www.worcester.edu/currents/). Currents is a peer-reviewed
electronic journal that aims to improve teaching and learning in
higher education by publishing research reports and theoretical
articles from teacher-scholars around the world. The journal regularly
publishes two issues per year: an open-ended Fall issue and a themed
issue in the Spring.
We welcome all teaching and learning-related submissions for the Fall
2019 issue (deadline August 15, 2019). The theme for the Spring 2020
issue is “Digital Pedagogies”—topics at the intersection of
technology, teaching, and learning (deadline December 15, 2019; see
the Currents website for more info about the theme:
https://www.worcester.edu/currents).
Submissions should be jargon-free, aimed at non-specialist
teacher-scholars. All submissions must be original, previously
unpublished, and broadly relevant to teaching and learning in higher
education. We welcome short reports on classroom practices (2850–5700
words), longer research reports or theoretical articles (5700-7125
words), and book reviews.
For short reports, research reports, and theoretical articles, send
all inquiries to Editor Benjamin D. Jee at
curr...@worcester.edu.
For book reviews, send all inquiries to Book Review Editor Kisha Tracy
at
ktr...@fitchburgstate.edu. No unsolicited reviews, please.
Submissions received after the deadlines will be considered on a
rolling basis and for a later issue. For submission guidelines, visit
the Currents website
www.worcester.edu/currents).
