Hello everyone,

On behalf of CWPA and the Summer Conference Co-Chairs, I'm excited to share the following news:

We have added three new exciting and important strands of presentations on AI/Chat GPT and WPA Work, CWPA sounding Board, and CWPA Bragging Hall. Proposals for these new strands will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so get those proposals in. Read all the details on our website here.
If interested in submitting a proposal for these new strands, please use the regular conference proposal form available under Proposal Guidelines.

Because we are committed to institutional diversity at the conference, we have reserved a number of presentation slots for panels (either proposed as panels or individual presentations grouped together) from Two-Year Colleges, SLACs, HBCUs, and Tribal Colleges. We can't have a meaningful conversation about social justice and WPA work without hearing from these institutions.

A reminder that Dr. David Green and Dr. Dominic DelliCarpini will be the conference keynote speakers.

Keynote Speakers: Dr. David Green (Howard Univ) and Dr. Dominic Dellicarpini (York College of Pennsylvania)

Conference Updates

If you have submitted a proposal for an early decision, notifications will be hitting your inbox in the first week of February.

If you have not submitted your proposal yet, the deadline is March 6. Get those proposals in before the semester gets so hectic.

The local committee is working so hard to make this conference in Reno a great experience for everyone.

More announcements about other exciting work at the conference are coming soon.
