Job: Two tenure-track jobs: one in Writing, one in Communications/New Media, at Central Maine Community College

I am thrilled to be hiring two tenure track faculty for fall at Central Maine Community College, in the midst of what I hope will be a great deal of curriculum change and development. These would be great jobs for someone with high interest both in teaching and in having a hand in curriculum and program development.

We are on a tight time frame hiring for fall and I would hate for someone who'd be a great fit to not apply because they weren't job hunting in the middle of summer. (I'm a composition/women's studies person, not communications or new media, so any help there would be especially welcome.)

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 15 credit hours of communications courses per semester, course development and student advising. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Master’s Degree in Communications or closely related field 

• Curriculum Development 

• Student Advising 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 3+ years of experience teaching communications courses at the college level 

• Expertise with media studies and/or emerging technologies 

• Experience with program development
