Hello all, Just a quick reminder that the University of Arkansas is excited to invite applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor position in Rhetoric and Composition to start July 1, 2023.This is a 12-month faculty appointment; it is renewable for two 3-year appointments and then unlimited 5-year appointments with the opportunity for promotion to associate and full. We are seeking candidates with interest in writing program administration, demonstrated facility with diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a commitment to exceptional teaching, who can help lead a dynamic writing program. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or a closely related field by the starting date. Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or scholarly expertise in writing program administration, equitable pedagogy, basic writing pedagogy, and/or composition history and theory.
