Event: MSUWC & ECWCA present: A Talk with Genie Giaimo and Dan Lawson

The Michigan State University Writing Center and the East Central Writing Centers Association are proud to present, as part of MSU's Communities of Care Speaker Series, a talk with Genie Giaimo and Dan Lawson. 

Our speakers will be sharing their experiences compiling ECWCA's Fall 2025 Book Club pick: Storying Writing Center Labor for Anti-capitalist Futures, an anthology co-written by dozens of authors sharing their stories of labor throughout the field. In the talk, the speakers will explore key themes from the book surrounding advocacy and communities of care. The talk will conclude with time for Q&A.
