Survey: Tenure-Track Faculty Experience With Onboarding

Greetings Prospective Participant,  

 

The purpose of the study is to explore the onboarding experiences of tenure-track faculty.

 

Eligible participants must be:  

• between the ages of 18 and 89, 
• currently a tenure-track faculty,
• have participated in faculty onboarding in the last two years (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Summer 2025, Fall 2025),
• working in a public institution of higher education in the United States,
• and are physically present in the United States at the time of questionnaire completion and the interview.

Participants will be asked to: 

1. Complete this initial questionnaire enabling us to gather some general demographic, descriptive, and contact information. This initial questionnaire should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. 
2. Complete an audio-recorded phone or Zoom interview. This may take up to 1.5 hours to complete.
