Job: Director of Writing The College of New Jersey

The College of New Jersey is hiring a Director of Writing, with a start date of January 2, 2026.

Under Collegewide Academics, the Director is the primary support for first year writing and writing across departments. Specifically, the Director works with departments on a Writing-Enriched Curriculum (WEC), serves as Co-Director of the First-Year Seminar Program, teaches one First-Year Seminar course each semester, supports faculty teaching writing-intensive courses, oversees the First Year Writing Studio, manages  Writing Program staff, leads Assessment for the program, manages the Writing Program/English Dept. Practicum Experience, and develops and maintains a robust culture of writing at TCNJ.
