LECTURER The Department of English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications to one academic staff position in professional and technical writing. The initial appointment will be for two academic years with the possibility for future contracts. The appointment will start August 22, 2022. Candidates should have experience teaching one or more of the following: business writing, technical writing, health science writing, writing in the professions, advanced technical writing (e.g., engineering), writing for nonprofits, grant writing, and information design. Candidates may be assigned courses in first-year composition as well. Applicants should be prepared to teach four sections each semester. jobs.uwm.edu
