Good morning all 

 I hope everyone has had a good start to the new year.  I’d like to share that the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking a Writing Instructor and Coordinator for the fall 2022 semester. The position is non-tenure track; the Writing Coordinator will teach three writing classes per semester, advise the Writing Center and address writing throughout the curriculum. 

The college welcomes applicants who are interested in working with health sciences students.  This position will provide the opportunity to teach writing to  students entering the fields of public health, medicine, pharmacy, microbiology, and other health- related areas and collaborate with colleagues in these disciplines.

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking qualified candidates for a 9.5 month non-tenure track Writing Instructor and Coordinator position. The start date is Fall 2022, however there is the possibility of an earlier start date. This position has three components: (1) teaching 3 courses per semester, (2) coordinating writing across the curriculum, and (3) advising the Writing Center in collaboration with the College’s Academic Support Services Manager. The Writing Coordinator is responsible for: faculty and curriculum development; integration and assessment of writing throughout the curriculum; and coordination and development of the College’s first-year writing classes. The Department of Population Health Sciences includes faculty from social sciences, humanities, and public health disciplines; interdisciplinary collaboration is highly valued.
