Hi Everyone,
The Two-Year College English Association Literacy Program Network is organizing the second cohort for a monthly seminar in program coordination for faculty and program administrators at community colleges and other open-access institutions. The TYCA seminars build community through cohorts of peers who meet virtually to learn about and work on issues that are important for faculty at community colleges and open-access four-year institutions.
Participants will meet throughout the academic year to learn about and share strategies for developing equitable and inclusive writing and literacy programs. The seminar is open to anyone who does English program coordination or development work, including faculty with service and committee responsibilities in addition to those with formal program administration positions. Graduate students who are interested in community college program work are also welcome to apply.
For more information, please read this document: TYCA Open-Access Literacy Program Coordination Seminar. To register for the seminar, complete this form. Registration is due no later than Saturday, October 4. Space is limited to 15 participants.
We’d also like to remind everyone about the CWPA and TYCA Event: Mapping Programmatic Responsibilities that takes place tomorrow, 9/19, from 3-4 EDT. You can register on the event page. This event is free to members of TYCA and CWPA.
