Volunteer: Young Scholars in Writing Social Media Team

Hello everyone,

Young Scholars in Writing is currently recruiting volunteers to help with our blog and social media team for the upcoming publication cycle.

For our 2027 issue, we have 11 authors whose work we would like to spotlight through author profile blog posts. Volunteers will help by interviewing one of the authors and writing a short blog post that introduces their research article, discusses their experience publishing with YSW, and helps promote their work to a broader audience.

Anyone is welcome to participate, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty. Those who complete an author profile blog post will receive full credit on the YSW website as the author of the blog post and will also receive masthead recognition in next year’s issue of Young Scholars in Writing.

We will hold an onboarding meeting either on August 14 in the afternoon or August 17 in the morning, depending on what works best for those who are interested.
