JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time, 9-month instructional position in the NDSCS English and Communication Department. Primary instructional responsibilities include first-year English composition and technical writing courses. Secondary instructional responsibilities may include teaching humanities courses in literature and communication classes. Other duties include curriculum development & revision, student advisement, student recruitment activities, committee participation, assessment of student learning, and related departmental and college responsibilities. The successful applicant will be expected to embrace the use of technology, as it relates to teaching and learning, and must be highly motivated, self-directed, and able to analyze and solve problems while working effectively in a team-centered management atmosphere.
