The deadline for the Classroom Applications: Community-Engaged Learning area at the 2026 RMMLA Convention has been extended to April 30, 2026.  Please see below for additional details and feel free to reach out with any questions.Greetings, all:

Please consider submitting a 250-word proposal to the Classroom Applications: Community-Engaged Learning session at the 2026 Rocky Mountain MLA Convention in Ogden, UT.

The Classroom Applications: Community-Engaged Learning session welcomes papers that focus particularly on service-learning or that consider more broadly ways in which the community and community-focused learning and writing can be integrated into the classroom.

The dates of this year's convention are October 8-10, 2026, and it will be held at the Marriott Courtyard in Ogden. For more information on the conference and other sessions in writing studies and beyond, please see https://www.rmmla.org/assets/docs/Call-for-Papers/Call-for-Papers-2026.pdf.
