Check it out! Episode 76 of the Big Rhetorical Podcast is live now: https://bit.ly/3nTLI6D. Don't miss Dr. Martin Camper from Loyola University Maryland on The Big Rhetorical Podcast discussing his work The Rhetoric of Interpretation and more--plus we chat about the upcoming RSA!
Dr. Martin Camper is associate professor of writing at Loyola University Maryland, where he teaches courses in rhetoric, writing, argument, and style. He is also director of Loyola’s Center for the Humanities, which supports humanities initiatives that benefit faculty, students, and the broader community. His book, Arguing over Texts: The Rhetoric of Interpretation, published by Oxford University Press, offers a rhetorical method for examining how people use argument to construct the meaning of texts. Research for his current book project, tentatively titled How the Bible’s Meaning Changes: Argument and Controversy in the Christian Church, has been supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the International Society for the History of Rhetoric.
The Big Rhetorical Podcast is hosted by Charles Woods, a Teaching Assistant Professor in the English department at East Carolina University.
