Dear Colleagues,

As we transition from this semester into a well-deserved long winter's nap, I know many of you will be tucking into reading for pleasure! We are sending out this call now in the hopes that as you enjoy your reading, you will feel inspired to join us in the spring for a Critical Language Awareness Collective workshop, Supporting Reading Education During the "AI Literacy Crisis," to talk about how to share the joy of reading with others! 

The Critical Language Awareness Collective (CLAC) Writing Center Group invites 5-minute micro-talks for a Spring 2026 workshop focused on reading, emphasizing tutoring or other specialist/small group interventions. For more information, please reference our invitation for Supporting Reading Education During the "AI Literacy Crisis."

Please indicate your interest through our Google Form by Tuesday, January 20, 2026. We have intentionally made this form brief to encourage easy and broad participation. Center and program directors, please share this invitation with your tutors of all levels!!!
