Hello Everyone ~
We are excited to be sharing an OPEN CALL to review book/media for Disability Studies Quarterly (DSQ). Response needed by: July 1
We are starting a new Book/Media Review process for Disability Studies Quarterly/DSQ. Our plan is to publish Book/Media reviews once a year in a special DSQ-r issue. This r-issue will typically appear alongside issue #4 of each volume-- this is the Fall issue which is usually published around Dec. 1 of each calendar year.
Thus, our first DSQ-r issue will appear with 39.4 around Dec. 1, 2019.
We’ve created a DSQ 39.4 Book Review Google Form of the material that needs a good review. There’s a lot of very exciting stuff here! Please browse the Google form and select a favorite text!

Please sign up for any text(s) you might be interested in at the DSQ 39.4 Book Review Google Form by July 1, 2019.
You’ll then need to write directly to the publishers of that book to request a review copy for yourself. You can openly cc the DSQ editors so that the publishers know you are doing this for the journal: dsqe...@gmail.com
Deadline for reviews back to the editors is September 15, 2019.
(revisions may be required).
Publication date is December 1, 2019
Suggested length of review 500-1000 words.
