I'm excited to share that we have several presentations for NCA 2021 that will be part of the Scholar-to-Scholar unit, which means that they'll reach a broader audience and perhaps even help us generate interest in ARSTM from folks who aren't familiar with
us yet.
The Scholar-to-Scholar division at NCA is analogous to a poster session at other conferences, where there are lots of simultaneous presentations on widely varied topics.
Since ARSTM will be represented at Scholar-to-Scholar, we're responsible for providing a "Wandering Scholar," someone who commits to attending that division's session and talking with presenters about their work.
Here's the request: if you are planning to attend NCA this fall, please
let me know by this Monday, May 31, if you would be interested in serving as wandering scholar. While I won't be
sending out presentation acceptances until after that date, if you're waiting on that to decide about NCA attendance, you are also welcome to check in with me to see if I've made a determination on your proposal.
Thank you so much! I'm excited for the chance to share ARSTM-ers' incredibly relevant and insightful work with the NCA membership at large.
