Dear Colleagues:
Laurie Grobman and I are thrilled to announce the spring/summer 20th anniversary issue of Reflections! The historical perspectives and retrospective surveys of the journal provide a starting point for scholars interested in academic journals, community-engaged writing, and the particular struggles and achievements of this particular journal. As several contributors note, this anniversary issue looks not only to the past but also to the future of writing in communities. The issue features articles by founding and former editors and authors, a reflective cartography of twenty years of content, and a survey of the journal’s readership. It also includes two articles and two book reviews that represent the ongoing work of Reflections.
Thanks to everyone who made this issue possible--authors, interviewers, copy editor Anna Flemming, web editor Heather Lang, and graphic designer Elizabeth Parks.
