The English Department at Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a focus in Theoretical / Computational Linguistics. The successful candidate will serve as Assistant Professor in the English Department beginning August 25, 2022.
The College is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to our mission of educating one of the most diverse student bodies in the U.S. Successful candidates will collaborate with current faculty to help design and teach upper division courses in linguistics and first-year writing for multilingual students. We have a growing cohort of Rhet/Comp/Linguistics faculty and are developing a major concentration in Rhetoric, Writing, and Linguistics for an amazing group of undergraduate students.
