Dear Writing Center community,
The Stanislaus State Writing Center will be hosting the
Northern California Writing Centers Association (NCWCA) Conference on
Saturday, April 18, 2026. We would be honored to welcome writing center faculty, staff, administrators, and tutors from across the region to join us.
Information about the conference can be found on the
NCWCA 2026 page on the Stanislaus State Writing Center website. Registration is open until April 15th. A flyer for the conference is also attached to this email.
The conference theme, “Writing epiCenters: Where Movement Begins,” focuses on how writing centers sustain connection, inspire change, and center humanistic work within our campus communities.
We are especially excited to welcome Dr. Sherwin Sales (CSU Dominguez Hills) as our keynote speaker.
If you have questions or would like to be involved in any way, please feel free to reach out. We’re looking forward to gathering with you
Saturday, April 18th at Stanislaus State.
Thanks,
NCWCA 2026 Coordinators
