Skype Online Status plugin showing me as offline even though I'm online

Hello,
I have the latest version of the plugin installed on Wordpress 2.8.
Everything looks fine and the button appears but it always says I'm
offline even when I'm online. Could you please let me know if you have
any idea as to why that may be happening? :) The URL is

Did you try going in and changing your Advanced Privacy settings to where "Allow my online status to be shown on the web" was checked? That might be it.
