Error: Failed to derive URL prefix for Timeline API code files

Hello,
I installed the plugin and activated it successfully. I set it to
display on one page. I now get an error "Error: Failed to derive URL
prefix for Timeline API code files" when I browse to that page.
Furthermore, all I see is a gray box with nothing inside.
I have a category set to display the posts I want to use in the
timeline, so theoretically it should have *something* displayed.
Any ideas?
