"Fatal error" on activating the plugin

Hi,
I install the Timeline plugin with no problem; but, on clicking
'Activate', I get the message:
"Fatal error: Class 'WPSimileTimelineBand' not found in /var/www/
vhosts/mariasoriano.eu/httpdocs/Blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simile-
timeline/timeline.php on line 108"
which I presume to be the file "WPSimileTimelineBand.class.php" in
inc?
Further, on clicking the hyperlink to the 'admin page' is see:
"You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
I don't give up easily, but this one has stumped me. Any ideas?
