HTTPS script locations

Hello! Our site uses SSL/TLS for connections, so Chrome now blocks http://simile.mit.edu/ajax/api/simile-ajax-api.js and http://api.simile-widgets.org/timeline/2.3.1/timeline-api.js?bundle=true. I know I can self-host the scripts to get around this, but is it possible to change the links in the plugin to an SSL-secured site so that any future plugin updates won't reset this? Thank you!
