Carmel Collins swims Ballycotton - Ardmore in 11hrs. 36 mins.

Hi everybody,

 

Thanks to Tadgh Harrington and Anna Maria Mullaly I was very ably replaced re my feeder’s contribution yesterday.

I had land based duties and was in Ardmore to watch Carmel successfully swim ashore.

The boat was the Anna Emily, a beautiful yacht out of Cobh skippered by Jack Hickey, with 2 other crew members Anne and Robert.

Land based support by Noel Rooney of Ardmore.

Imelda Lynch will submit her observers log to the ILDSA for ratification.

 

Carmel worked hard for this swim and battled bravely with a very satisfying outcome,
