Thanks to everyone who made it to the Boston chapter of Women of Wind Energy's first event of 2012 - the mentoring network launch party hosted by Nixon Peabody! The event was a great success, and we were glad to see the year start on such a high note.

The WoWE mentoring committee made a 6 minute video that walks through how to become a WoWE member and take advantage of the tools in the Online Member Center, particularly the mentoring program. We weren't able to watch the video at our Boston party, but you can watch it on your own at http://vimeo.com/35969357  (the password is "mentoring rocks").

Save the dates for our next two events!

The evening of Thursday, May 3rd we will have our second event, hosted by Synapse Energy Economics in Central Square, Cambridge. This will be a potluck dinner discussion with plenty of time for networking. Please keep your eye out for an eVite soon, we hope you can make it!

Registration is now open for the AWEA New England Regional Summit September 5-6 in Portland, ME.
We will have a WoWE meet up with the other New England WoWE chapters at this event.
More info on the summit below.
