Join Boston WoWE Chapter leaders in an unofficial AWEA Offshore side
event: Tour Narragansett Bay Commission (NBC) Field Point Wind Energy
Project. The electricity produced by Three 1.5MW turbines will offset
approximately 3,000 tons/year of carbon dioxide that would have been
released from fossil fuel generated electricity!

About the AWEA Offshore Conference in Providence, RI October 22-23:
www.offshorewindexpo.org
In recent milestones that confirm offshore wind's potential and
progress, the federal government held its first two offshore wind lease
auctions for land off the coasts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and
Virginia. These transactions demonstrate that the U.S. government is
successfully advancing offshore energy development, and reaffirm that
NOW is the time to invest in these opportunities. At the AWEA Offshore
WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition, you'll not only meet Deepwater Wind
and Dominion (the first two lease winners), but make strategic
connections to build your business, and learn from top-tier developers,
government agency representatives, and many others making offshore wind
energy news.
