WarCraft is a strategy-based real time game based on a fictional
setting. The primary objective of the game is to totally destroy the
enemy's base camp by attacking it with your forces. Many players enjoy
the game because the story line is outstanding and the graphic is
excellent. Even the characters and their abilities add excitement to
the game. If you have not yet been hooked by the game, consider giving
Warcraft a try. It will hone your planning and strategy making skills
and you may even be able find new acquaintances through online gaming.
If you are not sure about playing well, here are a few WarCraft tips
and strategies to help you get an edge and win in the game:
Make the economy your priority. In the real world a country needs
resources to finance its growth, attacking capabilities, and defense.
The same is true in War Craft. You need to have ample resources so you
can build units and buildings, and get upgrades. The first thing you
must do to improve your resources is to gather gold from mines and
lumber from trees.
Create a small army for defense. While yours is still a primary town,
you may want to create a primary offense/defense unit like Knights
(Human), Ghouls (Undead), Grunts (Orcs), and Archers (Night Elf). You
may create 4-8 units as your initial defense. You may also want to use
these units to kill creeps or AI controlled monsters found on selected
places within every map to earn gold and several items for your heroes
to use.
Strengthen your offensive and defensive capabilities. Build defense
towers in every entry point surrounding your town. This also includes
strengthening your heroes. Heroes are created by means of an altar.
These heroes have special abilities which can greatly help give you an
advantage over the enemy. The more creeps or enemy units the hero
kills, the higher his level gets. Upgrading is also necessary as it
enhances your units' capabilities.
Attack fast. You must attack fast and constantly as you can so that
your enemy would not have enough time to regroup. You also have to
eliminate the enemy's defenses first before attacking the vital
installations like the barracks and the altars.
If you do not consider yourself a good Warcraft player yet, consider
giving these tips and strategies a try. You may astonish yourself and
others how well you play in the game. Now that you are armed with
these vital gaming tips and strategies, play, enjoy and give yourself
an edge in Warcraft.
