If you have been browsing the web for World of Warcraft Gold Guides
you must have come across Dereks guide, also known as Warcraft Riches.
This guide is one of the bestsellers right now and the rumour says
that it will be upgraded for the new expansion; Wrath of the Lich
King.
Warcraft Riches hands you all of the necessary strategies and concepts
you need to make your character wealthy. The guide is built in PDF
format just as most guides but Warcraft Riches is divided into several
small mini-guides. This helped me a lot because in the other guides
they give you lots of information but it is packed into one book and
this makes it hard to find the information needed at a certain time.
Warcraft Riches makes it easy to find.
You get a few bonuses with this e-book and one of the bonuses is a
fishing guide that actually is one of the best parts of the whole
guide. This is because there are many diagrams and maps included,
which always helps a lot. You get a few more guides as bonuses but in
my opinion you could do without these.
The main thing that disappointed me was the fact that the guide is not
as detailed as it needed to be. Some of the strategies are complex and
requires a real step by step guide that don't assume that you know
that a small thing needed to be done before the next big thing.
This guide promotes grinding very much and to speak the truth I think
that grinding is one of the worst things to do in World of Warcraf.
Running around and killing NPC's and collect items is not my idea of
fun, it almost becomes a job. My idea of fun is going to the auction
house. If you apply the strategies that are explained in many of the
gold guides you will understand that this is close to a no-brainer.
I'm not an expert at the auction house but whenever I need some gold,
this is the place for me.
In conclusion, Warcraft Riches don't have what it takes to be the
number one guide. I feel this way because of the lack of details in
the otherwise excellent instructions, also, as mentioned before, I
hate grinding. I don't say that this is a bad guide, just that if you
don't have any experience it will not help you make the gold you want
for your flying epic mount. It will not give you money in a snap and
since there are guides that helps you with this, I would personally
prefer them over Warcraft Riches.
