Hi,

Just recently purchased the full license for WoW2Go, and I'm currently
using smoothping as well. Now that i'm using the full license, I get
stuck at the connecting step when I log in WoW....which has never
happened when I was using your free trial of wow2go. I tried this on
gamepath as well, and the same problem. Without wow2go, I log in fine
to WoW.

Pls. help, as I've already spent 20 dollars for wow2go license plus 16
dollars for smoothping, under the assumption that wow2g0 would work as
well as the free trial.

Thanks

Hi Pio,
First of all, what version of WoW2GO you are using? Latest version is
1.1.0. Secondary, are u using "battle net" account to login (are you
using e-mail address to login)? Older versions of WoW2GO did not
support it (1.1.0 does).
When you click on "Start" what exactly happening? Does WoW2GO show
"Status: Running" in left bottom corner? Once you start WoW and tried
to login, does WoW2GO keep showing "Status:Running" (you can switch
WoW to Window mode, so you can see WoW2GO and WoW at the same time)?

Hi Andrei

I have the same problem, I am also stuck on the login screen.

When I click Start,it says it's running, perpetual license and there
is no red error message. I have configured the settings correctly.

I also have the latest version. wow2go 1.1.0.

I am also using a battlenet account to login.

Please help me thanks!

Aaron.

Hi Andrei, I followed the steps in the troubleshooting section and this is the result i got:

WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

sh-3.2# netstat -an | grep ESTABLISHED | grep "\\.22"
sh-3.2# netstat -an | grep ESTABLISHED | grep "\\.22"

The only difference i noticed was that I got 748 instead of 197.

Plus I didn't get "tcp4 0 0 192.168.0.1.63027 174.34.135.18.22 ESTABLISHED" after i ran the command "netstat -an | grep ESTABLISHED | grep "\\.22"".

I hope this helps you to help me solve this problem, it's very annoying. Although having said that I can still use version 1.04 to login and play wow at the moment. I'm just not sure why i can't run 1.10. Furthermore, when i do run 1.04 and i try to update the software using the "Check for updates" command, it gives me

UPDATE ERROR
An error occurred in retrieving update information; are you connected to the internet? Please try again later.

Very weird indeed.

Thanks in advance Andrei,

Aaron.

The fact that you do not have "ESTABLISHED" line, indicate that WoW2GO
fail to connect to SSH server. You have to have something in your
wow2go.log file. Try to run WoW again (with WoW2GO ) and then e-mail
me your wow2go.log file. Also, I am really surprised that WoW2GO did
not report error. When you push "Start" button, does WoW2G report
"Status:Running"? Does it stay "Running" after you tried to login into
WoW?

Hi Andrei,

Ok you should find the attached file u requested in this email.

Yes it does say it's Running, there's no error report, no red Stop sign. Everything looks normal to me.

But it just doesn't connect using ver 1.10. When i revert back to 1.04, voila - it works?!!
