WoW2GO through Mac OS X "set up your own proxy"

Hi Andrei,

I followed the instructions on this page and set up my own proxy on my
Mac OS X machine.

I receive the STOP icon which probably means invalid configuration.

In the WoW2GO set up screen, I entered my external IP address from
whatsmyip.org and no username and password.

Is there any other way of fixing this?

Do you have a router between your computer and DSL/Cable modem? If you
do, have you configured "port forwarding"?

Do you know if your ISP allow HTTP traffic (What do you see if you try
to point your browser to http://<your IP>)?

ISP will quite often block port 80 (HTTP). If this is the case (when
you point your browser to http://<your IP> it just hang or it return
error), you may have better luck with SSH.
