i jus downloaded the application and bought a license but i cant even
open the application. im using a macbook 10.4.11
any thoughts?

"Can't open the app" - what do you mean? What happens when you double
click on the app? Are you getting any error messages?
"I'm using a macbook 10.4.11" - do you mean that you are running Tiger
on your macbook?
