9/23 Meeting Recap (10/2/10)

Hi Everyone –
Here’s the recap from the 9/23 meeting. Minutes are attached. We had a total of seven people at the meeting at Margaret’s house. Thanks to Margaret for hosting us, providing the veggies and dip, and baking those delicious cookies!
NEXT MEETING: October 28 @ 6PM @ the Aladdin Eatery in Dublin (6804 Perimeter Loop, Dublin, OH 43017). Bring yourself and an empty stomach!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The Sunday, 10/17 ride slot is open to anyone who has an idea for a ride. You do NOT have to lead the ride (unless you want to); we’re just looking for a route to take.
Highlights:
Chapter Logo: a revised version of the proposed chapter logo was presented at the meeting. We will have online voting available soon for several revisions of the design; winning logo will be sent to National for approval.
Group Roundtable: We threw around new ideas for future rides and activities ranging from short half-day runs to long weekends. Some included the Total Control Clinic, camping, and a ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We welcome more suggestions! Please send them over to columb...@gmail.com.
BSLR Holiday Party: has been tentatively scheduled for 12/4 or 12/11. More to come soon from our planning committee.
