Please be advised that we have been notified of a protest march that is expected to take place on Thursday 15th of May 2014 from 6.30pm.   The Palestine Action Group Assembly will commence from Town Hall at 6.30pm. Route of travel will be Town Hall up George St, turning right into King St, turning right into Pitt St Mall, pausing for one speaker in Pitt St mall, turning right into Park St and returning to Town Hall Square. This may impact access to and from the building including the car park.     There will also be road closures this Sunday the 18th of May 2014 for the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon. Between the hours of 4am and 10am, there will be no direct access between Anzac Bridge and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel will remain open but delays are expected. MAJOR ROAD CLOSURES: Western Distributor: some sections between Allen St and Harbour St (there will be no direct access between Anzac Bridge and Sydney Harbour Bridge) Cahill Expressway: between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Macquarie St. Sydney CBD: Sussex St, Kent St, Phillip St and Macquarie St. The Rocks/Circular Quay: George St, Hickson Rd, Alfred St and Loftus St. Pyrmont: Pyrmont St, Pirrama Rd, Jones Bay Rd and Darling Dr. SPECIAL EVENT CLEARWAYS  In place from 3am-8am around the event route (and 3am-10.30am on Hospital Rd only). Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies. I have attached a map with information on detours.
