Goodmorning everyone,
I recently bought a da vinci mini maker W 3d printer, bought it used and I'm trying to use it to the fullest. I have already done some printing and now I have to buy the new filament. After some research online I discover that it is possible to purchase third party filament using the systems described in this topic. I have some questions, I hope you can help me:
1) da vinci mini maker, fw version: 1.3.9 is it possible to use the nfc tag with this fw version?
2) if it is possible, is there any trick I need to use, such as disconnecting the PC from the network, etc., etc.?
3) what app I have to install on the smartphone, I see that you suggest at least 3.
4) once the tag has been created, where should it be housed?
Thanks to all the information floating around this forum, we are able to reset and create new valid ntag-labels for use in our dongled printers using various ways.
However, I personally felt a little uncomfortable using the famous nfc tools app to manipulate the tags. So I created a little android app that helped me with the process. I noticed some people have trouble going through the steps (which become pretty error-prone when it comes to creating valid tags from blanks), I decided to share it here, hope it helps some people out.
Yes, its not looking nice (not the android/ui guy) but it did the job for me so far, especially for creating new tags.
You should make an iPhone App for this since there's one for android only (maybe an app with html code) so it could run without internet access. The android app goes for a buck or so (go make some bling bling)
Hello to you all, I have recently bought a VH-2001 for my 1 year old son. I do appreciate the content and the focused development around toddlers and young children. However, there should be a wifi module with a software lock as for its price tag someone is expecting to be able to use it for other purpose too. For instance for the older children in the house including me of course, who i would like to download a bubble game from the android market and play with my son who loves it. Even though the content is fantastic, in my opinion there are ways to bypass the radiation issue when a todler is using it as i have previously mentioned and enable the parents to enable or disable the function on their discretion.
Ghost, Android, Animal challenges the notion that trauma literature functions as a healing agent for victims of severe pain and loss by bringing trauma studies into the orbit of posthumanist thought. Investigating how literary representations of ghosts, androids, and animals engage traumatic experience, this book revisits canonical texts by William Faulkner and Toni Morrison and aligns them with experimental and popular texts by Shirley Jackson, Philip K. Dick, and Clive Barker. In establishing this textual field, the book reveals how depictions of non-human agents invite readers to cross subjective and cultural thresholds and interact with the "impossible" pain of others. Ultimately, this study asks us to consider new practices for reading trauma literature that enlarges our conceptions of the human and the real.
