Having many apps, programs, web browsers, and so on open at once can slow down your PC. Having a lot of browser tabs open at once can also slow it down quite a bit. If this is happening, close any apps, browser tabs, etc., that you don't need and see if that helps speed up your PC. If it doesn't seem to help, restart your PC and then open just the apps, programs and browser windows you need.
The problem is the game bounces back and forth from virtual to physical RAM for graphics pulls. That is most noticeable when there is a lot going on with large numbers of personnel and machines, load screens and movie excerpts. For some reason, these newer OS types like windows 8-10 don't like that sort thing and can conflict and cause many rendering problems/crashes.
Awesome stuff! I'm no designer or front-end developer; until I found Tailwind last year I hadn't done any CSS since the early nineties. Tailwind, and Tailwind UI mean I can now create good looking front ends quickly, which is super empowering. Crazy impressive project.
