[Ararat] Material update

Good morning to you my fellow mountaineers, 

We have a few items that we forgot in other lists but that might be useful. Note that I am only putting the personal stuff, the common stuff will come in a separate email.

- Spare sun glasses (for the ones that do not want to bring googles) Keep in mind that no sunglasses means no glacier

- Tooth brush and paste (maybe the paste one for tent)

- Earplugs (for those that have trouble sleeping with someone snoring at 5 cm from their face)

- Lip balm (maybe one for tent is enough, but some people might like to have their own)

- Backpack cover (for the rain)

- Small towell - wet wipes

- Lighter/matches

Then there are a few things to remember before departure: 

- Make a list of all your belongings and everything that you will have in your backpack on the way up.

- Make photocopies of all your documents and credit cards. In case of loss you'll be glad to have done it. Don't keep them at the same place as your originals!

- Those who have leather boots, you might want to grease them before leaving. 

- I guess your respective mums will cover that point, but please don't forget anything before leaving! I am talking about handing in theses or closing projects at work or even watering the plants. Once there we don't know how much contact with the outside world we can (and want to) have. 

- Put all your clothes in plastic bags inside the backpack in case of rain. Same with your documents!

- Make your backpacks the day before departure at the latest! It takes a lot longer than it seems.

- Adjust your crampons to the boots! Those who appear at 4500 without the crampons adjusted to their boots shall be hanged from the neck until death.
