Hello Dear WormsArarat Family

I hope all of you are fine. It has been a long period without hear from you. 

I believe this pandemic will over and we must keep dreaming for our future. 

Friends, now I am back to Turkey, working as a associate professor in a public university caiied Duzce University, three ours from İstanbul close to Black Sea cost. 

And happyly Iam back to nematode reseach again. Talking with Emrah, our guide in Dogubeyazit and Ararat, said, why not to make another climb this year? I wanted to ask you if we could make a possible journey to another moıntain in Turkey.

Please ket me know, I am thinking of a scientific organisation as we did before. The mountain we can discuss which can be. I am excited to hear from you.

Hey Taylan,

that sounds like a really cool idea and it would be fun to get back together with you and the catalan crew. Good to hear you are happy with resuming your nematode research :). 

However, personally I will not make plans before this situation is definitely in a safe state. At the moment vaccinations are on its way .. but obviously Germany is over engineering it  - so its super slow...

Dear all!

It's really great to have good news from you after so many years! Also I'm very happy that you can resume your research again as a university professor!

Like Jonathan says, it is kind of difficult to make plans before this situation is more stable, but personally I have more constraints regarding my unstable professional situation so my plans have to be in the short term by this moment.

By the way, which are your specific interests for the mountain? Height, location (have to be in Turkey or could be also close to the region of the Caucasus?)

Dear Friends

My apologies for the late reply. I agree that it is still difficult this year due to the Pandemic, but we may postpone the idea to future and change the target place as Oriol propose to Caucasus Mountain, maybe in Georgia? As I have a very good friend Giorgi there, he may help us as a guide. Or wherever you wish to go, count me in!

Regarding the mountain, as you said, let's talk about options in the future, as this summer we're gonna have "local" holidays.
