Hi all!
I propose this thread to follow up the main organisation issues. Below you'll find what we've said up to now (and apart from the GoogleDoc document with the Tasks Distribution) regarding different points.
I've added some comments in this colour.

Task group
At least two people in every task group.
It's nice to share the workload, and, most importantly, the responsibility.
We all should fill the task distribution by the end of next week (so that people who will meet in Catalunya next week will have time to fill in :P )
Put the email to the commissions where we are si we can start emailing each other  among the groups, so people don't get overspammed.

"Overseers"
A couple of overseers who will get the emails from everybody.
The profile of the "overseer" should be someone with mountain experience (Uris?) and a local.
Duties: coordination among the different task groups, and kind of supervision of the whole thing.

Organisation during the climbing
Mari and OriolR propose to be in groups of 4-5 people with completely autonomy (gas, food, tent...maps...).

Gas
We cannot transport it by plane. We should be sure that we can find compatible gas and that is not a cheat....

Water
We will use iodine in principle. Will we find water up there?

Temperature
We have not a good idea of what range of temperatures are we going to face. Deeper research on this point is necessary.

Contacting somebody who has already climbed the Ararat
This will help us regarding the last 3 points.
Mari said: I found this Spanish group http://www.niphargus.net/Ararat.htm  maybe we can write them an email? I only know people that have climbed Ararat in winter..with the skis!!!!!!(wind will be our enemy...)
I think it's a good idea to contact them (or another expedition we find).

Material
Lot of material (Alpine tents, crampons...) could be borrowed from a mountain association from Lyon. Logistics of taking the material (a priory Xavier can do that. I will) and giving it back (guys who are going to the Alps after Ararat?) should be planned.

Logo
come on!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mari proposes to do a team buff... easy... cheap.. useful, what do you think??
I'll work on a 2-colour logo so that it'll be cheaper to print on anything.

Mari said: we are late, but I'm working on it anyway... I'll need some help... for example planning a budget... we can talk about that next Friday...! (I want free kit kat!!!! :)
I guess I can help on planning the budget (or I should) as one of the treasurers ;)

As Eudald says: DON'T BE SHY. Just write your concerns and thoughts when there is still time to address them!

See you soon!

Samples
Taylan, did you find the freezer to keep the samples frozen and join us for the tourist tour?? Can you confirm the quantity and the reservoir we'll use for sampling?? My idea was Sampling Mass<< 10kg! And sampling on the way down...

Calendar
I already created a Expedition google Calendar!! Check you added to your own calendar!! And add your arrival and departure (if it is not there yet!)

Accomodation
Taylan was also dealing with this!! the 22nd we'll sleep in Taylan's place (still ok Taylan?¿) and then we are sorting out cheap accommodation in Ararat's bottom town (Taylan give feedback on this and ask for any help you need ). Also what about cars location??? Can we go for a minibus?? XD
