If you feel like something is missing from your listening experience, though, Spotify lets you take control of various settings to make your music sound more superb. That way whether you're in a quiet library, on your morning commute or pumping some iron in the gym, your music will always fit the mood.
If you connect to Spotify via a cellular network rather than a Wi-Fi connection, choosing a high streaming quality could potentially cost you a lot because of the increased data usage. You can disable cellular downloads on the Music Quality settings screen.
My daughter recently turned 12, and I installed Spotify Kids on her phone. But now that she's 12, she wants Spotify. The age says 12+, and I have her birthday correct in family settings. However, when I go to download the app, it says - Due to restrictions set for this device, this app cannot be downloaded. I'm looked at a number of settings and cannot see to find when the restriction is. Help.
I switched the setting from 9+ to 17+ and then I was allowed to download spotify onto my child's phone. The 12+ setting may work also, I dunno... it's taken me 45 minutes to get this far and I'm just happy to have finally figured it out.
I have the same problem. My daughter is 12 (almost 13), her birthday is correct in the appleID, and I can change all settings in Screen Time to allow absolutely everything (or turn off Screen Time limits completely) and still the App Store will not allow us to download any music app rated 12+ (Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music all give the same message).
After going on a trip and finding it more efficient to pair with my iPad, I noticed that the spotify audio sounds better on iPad. Not necessarily the quality, but how the overall music sounds. I thought that maybe the EQ settings in spotify on my iPhone make it sound 'worse' somehow, but even with EQ disabled or by matching my EQ settings on my iPad, it still sounds better.
This code posted in this answer I need to know how to get information about which player is currently streaming (player, spotify, napster...) uses MPNowPlayingInfoCenter which is nil whether using Apple Music or Spotify etc.
I am also having the same issue with my OnePlus 11 Pro and upgrading to Android 13. This is not an issue on my iPhone or via desktop. In addition, its not just Sonos devices but I cannot see my Roku devices which I was also able to play spotify music through.
It worked for a while, I have Sonis boxed everywhere, none are showing up anymore. In the sonos app it works(but the app is not nice to use). On my girlfriends iphone it's working thriugh spotify. I can see my TV and my google chromecast always though.
How do I play spotify through my bluetooth headset? After upgrading, spotify only plays through my iphone even if the bluetooth headset is already connected. No option on spotify to play through the headset either.
A background app refresh will ensure if your installed app is refreshed timely. Check it in the settings if the background app refresh is turned on for Spotify. If not, then this might be the reason your app is crashing.
To make Spotify kid-friendly, use the "Allow Explicit Content" feature. Access it through your child's Spotify account settings, and toggle it off in the "Explicit Content" section. This automatically skips explicit songs in albums or playlists, ensuring your child only listens to age-appropriate music.
Step 2: Now go to your device settings and look for Profile Downloaded option when you find it click on this then click on the Install button now if it asks for a passcode then enter your password, Now click on next, Now click on Install, Again click on install.
