See - always gives undivided attention, never opens his mouth, always stays where you leave him, always looks good... ok, well I did assemble him and am quite proud of that (not to mention the other dozen mannequins - that were delivered in pieces...). In reality, I have a pretty perfect guy who's not so pale and he smells better than this acrylic dude. (Sorry for the nakedness, the brands that are exhibiting with them will not be here to dress them until tomorrow).
Tonight we went out to eat at another restaurant that fed us about 4 appetizers before an entree and then finally a desert around 10:00. During the appetizers, I was absorbed in a conversation with one of our board members from Singapore when a waiter came out of nowhere and over my shoulder laid this on my plate...

Uh, huh... my thoughts exactly!
Now onto the pictures of the inside of the cathedral that I visited yesterday. I wish pictures did it justice, but like most things in life - there is no way to capture it's true beauty other than seeing it in person. I must admit, it is the first church I've ever visited that charged admission. At first I was content to stay outside and just see the outside, but I decided it might be worth it - and it was!

I hope you are able to get a general idea of the grand building that this is. Especially considering it was built in the late 1800's without the help of computer calculations, etc. I'm not Catholic, but I would love to attend a worship in this church. The side galleries (on an upper level - can't be seen from these photos) have the capacity to hold about 1,000 singers!
Tomorrow evening our actual conference starts - all of the pre-meetings will be finished! But before that can happen, I
have get to be in the board meeting all day tomorrow. The up-side is - it gets me out of helping to set up the exhibit space :). This is going to be our best conference yet. We'll have around 300 attendees from around the world and the textile industry. We are also hosting a Greenpeace meeting as a part of our conference to address some issues that have popped up as of late regarding the use of slave labor in the industry. I am looking forward to it and while I will be busy, I will try to continue to post daily.
Amor a todos!
