Hello Volunteers,
Here is the first one of the technical questions I asked this weekend at the mid-service.
I will continue to work on them and will share any results I find.
The questions all refer to Windows Server 2003.
The students have thirty thin clients each of which has keyboard, mouse and monitor.
To them, they feel like they have their computer because individual settings are saved.
Students love changing color schemes on the desk top and making everything gaudy.
One wants to put her picture as wallpaper.
I showed her how to right click and select “Set as desktop background”.
Nothing happened.
Do you know whether clients can have their own desktop wallpaper?
Is there a setting anywhere on the server to allow or disallow this?
If it is simply not possible, can anyone refer to a document or text from a HELP file that I can share with the student?
If it is possible but there are restrictions, please share what you can.
Thanks, Roger
P.S. It was very nice to see you all.
I had not really understood how isolated Usakos is until I had the joy of being around all of you.
Thank you.
