Hello all,

We are now more than 20 people on this Google group
which is absolutely fantastic!

I had prepared an email to new people that joined us,
but I think the overview is actually useful for everybody.

In the next couple of weeks we've quite some work to do....
Let me give pointers to the most important discussions:

Discussion on how to make best use out of the IAC specifically:
http://groups.google.com/group/worldspaceweek/browse_thread/thread/2f1fb2b17b3ec32c

Discussion on how to dispatch our Announcement/Invitation as widely as
possible:
http://groups.google.com/group/worldspaceweek/browse_thread/thread/6359ad36864b71fb

Discussion on how to get the best out of co-operating with IYA:
http://groups.google.com/group/worldspaceweek/browse_thread/thread/536fb4362634b910

Apart from that the most important general overview document (under
Files):

Thank you beforehand for your efforts: they will be greatly
appreciated!

Looking forward to receiving your suggestions (via the Google group
please).

kind regards,

Jim Volp

The theme for World Space Week, October 4-10, 2009 is "Space for
Education."
Let's build on the great momentum of WSW 2007 and 2008 with even more
events
in 2009! http://www.worldspaceweek.org/calendar_2009.php

Please begin planning events and inviting others to do the same.

And especially given this year's theme, please invite teachers to
inspire students
about learning using space during WSW 2009. Thank you.
