114 to be precise taking place in more than 30 countries:
Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica,
Cyprus, England, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Ireland,
Japan, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Republic of Korea,
Russia Federation, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands,
Turkey, UK, USA, Venezuela and lastly Zambia
It is hard to know at this point in time if this means we are going
to
break last years record which was 550 events in 63 countries.
So, we can still use your help eg in two ways:
1) Think who you know that might help you get in contact with
teachers.
Send them an email and attach our fantastic looking poster:
http://www.worldspaceweek.org/2009_Poster_Medium_Quality.jpg
and our Fact Sheet:
www.worldspaceweek.org/WSW_Fact_Sheet.doc
2) Every time you hear about a WSW event, check if they are
registered
in the Calendar:
http://www.worldspaceweek.org/calendar_2009.php
If they are not, send a friendly email to explain that this is really
important
as otherwise the event "gets lost" / we don't know about it.
Thank you.
