Announcement:

Celebrate World Space Week 2009

UN-declared World Space Week, Oct. 4-10 annually, is the largest
public space event on Earth and the best time each year for teachers
to use space to excite students about learning. During World Space
Week, you are encouraged to use space-themed activities, such as those
from www.worldspaceweek.org/education, NASA, and other sources. To
show how your classroom is part of this global celebration, please
register at www.worldspaceweek.org/new_event.php. To recognize
creative use of space to inspire students, World Space Week
Association will recognize several participating teachers with $500
grants this year.
