ESTAS TRO BELA TAGO POR TELEVIDI
Kruko volas spekti sporton, sed ne trovas la teleregilon.
Kruko: Mi denove perdis la teleregilon, karinjo. Ĉu vi vidis ĝin?
Jozefino: Ĉu vi serĉis ĝin ĉie?
Kruko: Evidente! Ĉu mi aspektas stulte?
Jozefino: Ne, ne. Cetere, kioma horo estas?
Kruko levas la brakon por rigardi sian brakhorloĝon - kaj konstatas ke li tenas la teleregilon en la mano.
Jozefino: NUN vi aspektas stulte.

 

Kruko ŝaltas la televidilon, kaj sidiĝas.
Jozefino: Kion vi spektas?
Kruko: Golfon.
Jozefino: Ĉu golfon! Ĉu vi intencas pasigi ĉi tian belegan tagon nur televidante golfon!?
Kruko: Kial ne?
Jozefino: Vi bezonas pli da fizika ekzercado!
Kruko pripensas: Nu, eble vi pravas...
Li prenas la teleregilon kaj ŝanĝas kanalon: Mi anstataŭe spektos tenison!

TOO LOVELY A DAY TO WATCH TELEVISION
Kruko wants to watch sport but he can't find the TV remote.
Kruko: "I've lost the remote again, darling. Have you seen it?"
Josephine: "Have you searched for it everywhere?"
Kruko: "Of course! Do I look stupid?"
Josephine: "No, no. By the way, what time is it?"
Kruko lifts his arm to look at his wristwatch - and discovers that he is holding the remote in his hand.
Josephine: "NOW you look stupid."

Kruko turns on the television and sits down.
Josephine: "What are you watching?"
Kruko: "Golf."
Josephine: "Golf? Do you intend to pass this kind of lovely day just watching television?!"
Kruko: "Why not?"
Josephine: "You need more physical exercise!"
Kruko considers: "Well maybe you're right..."
He takes the remote and changes the channel. "I'll watch tennis instead!"
