Hi, folks. A new user here: I have layer that has various buildings as points on the map. I misplaced one building, and so went to the "edit feature" tab to get rid of the old point. But that didn't seem to allow me to either get back into the metadata to press the "delete" key, nor was I successful at getting rid of the point on the map. So, newby question: how do you get rid of your mistakes when they are points on the map?! Thanks!

Hi Paul,
Can you give me the layer name? I assume you have edit access to the layer.  You should be able to highlight the layer on the left list, click edit edit feature, click on the feature, on the edit window click delete.

Thanks Ben. The layer name is "residential building", and the pesky blue triangle (my icon for these) is a double of one I placed north of downtown Chicago. That said, I tried your advice and it worked fine. For some reason, my computer was not letting me highlight a feature using the edit key yesterday (the attribute box wasn't showing up; it is now). Not sure what the difference is, but it seems fine now. Again, thanks.
