These positions conduct the planning, approval, research, testing, configuration, licensing, procurement, and installation of hardware and non-standard (program specific) commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software systems for their assigned Division. This also includes being the point person for the corresponding department-wide and enterprise-wide policies and procedures.
These positions ensure that, through business-appropriate hardware, software and service, division staff are equipped to develop, collect, utilize, and share data for science-based protection and sustainable management of department land and resources.
