The E-Cycle Wisconsin 2026 Report is now available on the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) website. The report provides the latest assessment of the state’s electronics recycling law, including a discussion of successes, current challenges and potential solutions identified through conversations with participants and the public.
Last year, E-Cycle Wisconsin collectors received 20.5 million pounds of eligible electronics, or about 3.15 pounds per capita. Since the state’s recycling law took effect in 2010, E-Cycle Wisconsin recycled nearly 440 million pounds of electronics from households and schools.
Access the full report to learn more about program successes, how the program is addressing challenges and what potential legislative changes are recommended.
E-Cycle Wisconsin has released a new 15-second public service announcement warning of the dangers of placing electronics in garbage and recycling containers and encouraging members of the public to drop their electronics at a collection site.
